Jquery began to take shape around 2005 or later. The early adopters were in position to land any project that came along. By 2007 recruiters were screaming for JavaScript programmers and less for .NET which my software operation had deep investment. By 2010 that was for a solo operators extensive in terms of time, effort and commitment.See Wikipedia

The HTML5 Standard solves a wide variety of internet issues by encapsulating, standardizing and colayesing standards and often collapsing many of codes into a single line.Way back in 1996 HTML would sometimes change so often you lived waiting changes and news standards to solve problem. When Youtube was purchased by Google the Video Explosion took off which is when Flash and Apple collided. Steve Jobs missed one key point about Adobe which is if it wasn't for Postscript the Mac could have stalled and died off.
In 1996 I was developing OCX and ActiveX controls in the SF East Bay. Their core technology is now part of your everyday user experience. Amazing how a years work can be encapsulated into a Patent. I got paid and that was all I got - money.
